What does an Assistant Branch Manager do?
Effectively assists the Branch Manager in leading the daily operations of the branch
Coaches and develops employees to support WSECU's Brand Promise
Ensures employees are equipped to meet member needs while observing the Credit Union's Operating Guidelines and Code of Conduct Standards
Meets established branch sales and performance results
Provides a positive leadership example

Two years of college OR substitute two years of leadership experience for college
Two years of experience in a financial institution or in a retail or service related position including lending, new accounts, or a combination, branch experience preferred
Must be registered, or able to become registered, as a Mortgage Loan Originator by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System as required by SAFE Act upon hire and annually thereafter
Minimum one year leadership or supervisory experience necessary
The ability to analyze information and form recommendations
Effective listening skills
Ability to communicate with tact, diplomacy and professionalism
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, dealing with all types of customer issues
Communications training, budgeting experience and business/strategic planning a plus
Ability to motivate others
