Are you an experienced mortgage professional looking to apply your skills in supporting all commercial loan origination, processing, documentation, and closing review functions?  WSECU’s Mortgage Department in Olympia has an immediate opening for a Commercial Real Estate Loan Coordinator.

The Commercial Real Estate Loan Coordinator is responsible for processing, coordinating the origination documentation of loan packages, commercial regulatory guidelines for commercial real estate loans, and commercial construction loans.  The CRE Coordinator examines loan documentation for accuracy and completeness and works with appropriate staff to verify rates, terms and conditions.  The CRE Coordinator will work in a team environment along with originators, underwriters, closers, and the department VP.

If you have experience with processing commercial real estate loans and enjoy working in a service oriented and fast-paced environment, this position may be the ideal position for you.  The salary for this non-exempt position is DOQ, plus an excellent benefits package.  Hours are Monday – Friday, minimum 40 hours per week.  Scheduling flexibility is required to meet business needs.

This position closes at 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 29th 2013.

Skills / Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATION:

Required - High school level or greater.  Mortgage processing experience and the ability to perform basic underwriting of mortgage loan packages. 

Preferred – Experience in commercial loans, CRE loans, mortgage loans or installment loans.

KNOWLEDGE\SKILLS\ABILITIES:

Required – Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Comfortable applying critical thoughts to organizational and system processes.  Knowledgeable of compliance laws governing the duties entrusted to this position.  Understanding and knowledge of lending application documentation, general underwriting guidelines, internal loan processes, and governmental requirements.  Strong problem solving skills.  Ability to provide clear explanations of complicated mortgage information.  Ability to work individually and as a team member.  High level of initiative, self-motivation, follow through, and attention to detail.  Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
