Here’s the perfect part-time position! Spend your working hours with the friendly, professional team at the Washington State Employees Credit Union as the Lobby Security Specialist. From the Security/Reception Desk in the Olympia Corporate Building, you’ll use your strong people skills and warm personality to make a great first impression on all visitors to the building.
The Lobby Security Specialist will monitor 3VR cameras to ensure that equipment is operating properly; operates WSECU’s on-line access control system; provides first point of contact for all safety/security concerns reported; follows established opening/closing procedures; utilizes SafeCatch procedures to observe, acknowledge and report suspicious persons and/or activities. The Lobby Security Specialist will greet members and guests; follow established procedures for documenting and issuing visitor or access control badges.
Your work will be interesting and enjoyable; you’ll provide excellent service to credit union members, employees, vendors, and others who visit the corporate campus. This non-exempt part-time position offers a salary of $14.12 - $19.35 DOQ per hour plus an excellent benefits package!
This position will remain open for 7 days and will close at 5:00pm on Friday, May 3rd.
HOURS: Regular hours will be Monday – Friday, 12:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. (25 hours a week), however scheduling flexibility is necessary to meet service requirements, including coverage 7:30-4:30 p.m. when needed. Must be able to report to work on time during inclement weather to meet employee and member needs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERINCE:
Required – High school or greater. Customer service and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Preferred – Experience working in a security environment.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Required – Positive attitude and effective listening skills. Ability to communicate clearly and assertively, if needed, both verbally and in writing. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently without close supervision. Ability to use sound judgment and react calmly and effectively to safety, security and emergency situations. Ability to apply established guidelines and procedures. Strong customer relation skills to support WSECU’s Brand Promise.
