Are you a Business Technology leader looking for work for one of the largest credit unions in Washington State? We are looking for a talented, innovative, and collaborative individual to bring on as the Vice President of Business Technology.
This person supports business units of WSECU by aligning technology and business strategies through effective partnerships, consulting, project and program management. They will be accountable for leading, planning, directing and administering the Credit Union’s application development & integration projects. The role requires a keen focus on the coordination of IT-related activities and resources across both tactical, and long term strategic efforts driving initiatives that position the organization for innovation and competitive success.
Successful candidate will research emerging trends in IT service delivery, measurement, and collaboration; lead the design, development and improvement of system and business process development lifecycle methodologies and technology execution capabilities. Provides the organization an expert view of emerging technologies; facilitates the execution of technology projects across and within lines of business. The role of the VP of Business Technlogy will include mentor, influencer, promoter, and consultant.
1. Directs Application Development and Integration.
2. Directs IT Program/Project Management Practice
3. Directs Business Technology Strategy, Architecture and Execution.
4. Directs Talent Leadership.
5. Business Technology Consulting and Collaboration Management.
6. Performs specific and delegated duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or greater in Information Technology, Business Management, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 15 years in Information Technology, with at least ten years of experience IT management, and 5+ years in program/project management supporting execution of new products and services. a software development team.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in IT related field. Experience in credit unions or similar financial institutions. Symitar experience a plus.
