Job Description

As an ITS III, you will be leading complex projects, resolving client computing issues, as well as working with architects to establish and publish client computing standards based on WSECU business needs. Another fun task is working closely with lines of business to identify technology solutions to resolve business technology needs.

Your day may include: 

  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to 3 other Help Desk technicians supporting desktops, laptops, surface PCs, I-pads, I-pods, phones, printers and other peripheral devices
  • Serving as the tier 3 technical expert working closely with other IT teams to find effective solutions for root causes to issues
  • Performing ticket resolution activities to keep the business up and running
  • Creating and updating procedures for the Help Desk knowledge base
  • Serving as technical lead on projects
  • Maintaining vendor relationships
  • Developing, recommending, and implementing standards for PCs, tablets, monitors, printers, and office-productivity software
  • Pursuing excellence in meeting service-level targets
  • Delivering solutions to meet customer needs and provide business value to the organization and stakeholders
  • Performing quarterly site visits to support WSECU branch technology and service needs
  • Performing on-call duty per a predetermined schedule
  • Volunteering with your team in the community


What you may bring to the team: 

  • CompTIA A+ Workstation Certification (or equal)
  • Network+ and Security+ Certifications
  • Three years of experience supporting client computing devices
  • Microsoft Certified Professional certification for current workstation operating system
    • Required within 12 month of hire
  • A two-year technical degree or higher
    • A combination of education, experience, and certifications may substitute for this requirement 

Bonus points if you have:

  • Microsoft Certified Professional certification on the Windows Operating System
  • Three or more years of experience utilizing SCCM for deployments, reporting, and workstation administration
  • Three or more years of experience utilizing Active Directory GPOs to manage workstation configuration
  • Three or more years of technical hands-on experience performing hardware and software support
